About Our School

Waterman School is proud to have been designated a Blue Ribbon National School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education in 1997. Waterman was one of 13 Blue Ribbon Schools in New York State and 226 in the nation that school year. The dedicated and caring staff provide a nurturing environment and a child-centered approach to learning. Among its excellent programs are a hands-on math and science approach and a literature-based language arts program. Outstanding activities are provided through their library, art, music and physical education programs. It is truly a great place to begin!
